A Plot: With Ren desperately needing acts for her Earth Day telethon, Barry tries to impress her by lining up Hall & Oates via a possible connection at a mutual dentist's office. When that fails, Barry enlists Adam's help in pretending to be Hall & Oates, but Barry is confused as to which performer is which and dresses as Oates, just as Adam does.
B Plot: Beverly overhears Bill Lewis telling Murray that he's finally ready to move on from his ex-wife, and she becomes determined to set him up with someone. Unknown to Beverly, Bill has enlisted help from another yenta, Jane Bales (last seen in "WrestleMania").
- All Part of the Show: Despite Barry and Adam's mix-up, Ren says their song got lots of donations because people thought it was a comedy act.
- The Cameo: John Oates as the janitor who claims to have a band in The Tag.
- Celebrity Lie: Barry tries to impress Ren by claiming that he can get Hall and Oates for the telethon.
- Group Costume Fail: Adam and Barry are supposed to be disguised as Daryl Hall & John Oates, but because Barry couldn't tell which was which, they both end up dressed as Oates.
- Recognition Failure: Barry can't tell which is Hall and which is Oates, resulting in both him and Adam dressing up as Oates.
