The dragons all unleash their fire breath, but it has no effect on Anguirus, who proceeds to beat the crap out of them. Not only is he much stronger than they are, he actually knows how to fight. Rainbow Dash tells Gentle Leaf they should leave just in case the fight moves towards them, but the filly is too busy silently cheering for Anguirus to notice her. Garble gathers all his energy into a fire attack and blasts him, but it again has no effect. Anguirus laughs and comments to himself that Garble's flames are nothing compared to Godzilla's Atomic Breath. He unleashes a mighty roar that ruptures Garble's eardrums and knocks him back.
Twilight Sparkle and Mothra teleport next to Rainbow. After checking Rainbow's injuries and finding nothing serious, Twilight asks what is going on. Rainbow gives an abridged version of what happened, then is startled by Mothra's appearance. Twilight quickly explains that she is a friend, then gawks at the mighty dinosaur who is creaming the dragon gang. Mothra says he is a friend named Anguirus.
Xenilla has a nightmare where he relives one of his father, Godzilla Senior's memories, in first person and unable to control anything. Godzilla is in the icy waters of the Arctic, arguing with the demonic, echoing voice of an unseen figure. Godzilla says he must stop the figure as he plans to wipe out all life on Terra. They battle, and Xenilla wakes up in a cold sweat, wondering who that figure was.
Back in Global Defense Force headquarters, a meeting is in order. Dimension Tide has been decommissioned, and its latest targets are discussed. They were all areas where Kaiju have been known to gather, except for Attu Island, which is nothing but a wildlife preserve.
As Anguirus is busy fighting the other dragons, Garble tries to sneak up on him and attack his unarmored throat. Before he can attack, the mighty pterodactyl-like Kaiju known as Rodan emerges from the clouds and fires his Uranium Ray near Garble's feet to stop him, then lands on Garble, knocking him out. Mothra rolls her eyes as Anguirus and Rodan greet each other.
In Appleloosa, Braeburn prepares to go to sleep, ready to bake pies for the Buffalo tribe in the morning. He blushes when he thinks of Little Strongheart. He hears flapping and shrieking as the town is invaded and a monster with an arrow-shaped head breaks through his window.
