Finally regaining her lost memories after six years without them, Rumi wakes up in time to see Maruki returning. Now truly together again, the couple share a kiss.
As the strike team makes their journey to Osaka, Naoto reflects on how much she and her friends have changed since the Midnight Channel incident. Ren inquires what she was thinking before mentioning Goro Akechi, with Naoto and Ken noting how many people compared them to him for different reasons. Ren soon explains everything he knew about Akechi, from his motivations to his temporary team-up with the Phantom Thieves while dealing with Maruki's false reality. Realizing the similarities between himself and Akechi, Ken shares his backstory with Ren and Naoto. He recounts his mother's death, his desire for revenge, and the consequences leading to the outcome, leaving the two Persona-users in silence.
Meanwhile, Kenzo returns to the Velvet Room to obtain a new Special Persona through fusion. After making his confirmation to Igor, Kenzo begins the process. Following a brief struggle, he completes the fusion successfully, allowing him to take in his new Persona: Dragon Rider.
Sumire reassures her parents after they express their concern for her safety while revealing that her relatives are coming from the Philippines to live with them.
Returning home exhausted from trying to manage Ren's duties, Makoto briefly converses with Sae, who encourages her before teasing her a bit about her and Ren's intimate activities.
Arriving at Osaka after a long drive, Ren, Haru, and Minako head into their RV to fetch the other Persona-users, only to discover that Sho had accompanied them without their knowledge.
