Return to Orange County: Zorn journeys from his animated homeland of Zephyria to Orange County, California, for his son, Alan's 17th birthday, and while there, meets his ex-wife Edie's new fiancé, Greg, and upon realizing Alan hates him for being mostly absent from his life, decides to not return to Zephyria and gets a job and apartment in town.
Defender of Teen Love: After accidentally embarrassing Alan in front of his crush, Nancy, Zorn decides to use the mystical Stone of Sight to help Alan learn Nancy's interests. Even though Alan sees this as stalking, he can't help but work it to his advantage. Meanwhile, Edie pushes Zorn to move his boxes out of her garage and into his apartment.
The War of the Workplace: When a bottle of hot sauce is taken from the workplace break room, Zorn attempts to fight back with his co-workers in his own style of fighting. Meanwhile, Alan tries to get out of a swimming session in gym class for fear of exposing his secret while getting bullied by a student named Warren. In the process, Alan learns something about himself that he never knew.
The Weekend Warrior: When Alan stays over at his apartment for the weekend, Zorn tries to be a "cool dad" , but things take an unexpected turn when Alan's friend Jeff shows up.
A Taste of Zephyria: Upset over a TV show that he believes to be racist towards Zephyrians, Zorn tries to teach Alan about his Zephyrian culture. Meanwhile, Edie goes to war with her new neighbors over their talking garden gnome.
A Tale of Two Zorns: After seeing Alan and Craig bonding over their favorite video game, Zorn uses his body double dummy, "Meka-Zorn", in order to sneak out of work and wait in line for the latest game in the series. In the meantime, Edie and Linda use "Meka-Zorn" to let out their frustrations with the real Zorn.
The Battle of Thanksgiving: Following a pep talk from Linda, Zorn crashes Edie's Thanksgiving dinner to prove to her mother that he's matured, only to hear her views on Zephyria. In the meantime, Alan tries to butter up his grandmother so she'll pay for his summer music camp.
Return of the Drinking Buddy: Zorn's old friend, Headbutt Man, is coming to Orange County for a visit. Unfortunately for Zorn, his old drinking buddy is now completely sober. Meanwhile, Alan is invited to a party where his crush, Nancy, will be. Unfortunately, he has to take Headbutt Man's daughter with him
The War on Grafelnik: Torn between celebrating Edie's Christmas and Zorn's Grafelnik, the Zephyrian holiday of revenge, Alan discovers he can use both holidays to get better presents.
Radioactive Ex-Girlfriend: Zorn reconnects with his radioactive ex-girlfriend Radiana as Craig and Edie prepare for their engagement party.
The Battle of Self-Acceptance: Alan takes a drug that makes him completely real. Linda is replaced with Todd and she hooks up with Zorn, after he realizes that she is a woman. Craig leaves Edie, so she can be with Zorn.
The Quest for Craig: Edie, Linda and Zorn search for Craig. Alan's Zephyrian legs lead to his being the football team's new kicker.
All Hail Son of Zorn: Zorn sells all his Zephryian items at a yard sale. Alan tries to patch things up with Layla. He later falls pregnant due to his Zephryian genitals. Zorn is kidnapped by Lord Vulchazor and taken to Zephryia.
