Our heroes are on the run after escaping from the Lady Bone Demon. They need to track down a powerful weapon to beat her, but Macaque has other plans.

- Flash Back: The episode begins with a scene showing what Monkey King was doing just before he showed up to save MK from Lady Bone Demon in ''The End Is Here!'', and also explains what the map he showed the heroes in that same episode is for and why he appeared so roughed up - it’s to find the Samadhi Fire, the “weapon” he was seeking, and he had to fight the Louts Prince Ne Zha for it.
- My Significance Sense Is Tingling: Right after Monkey King secures the map to the Samadhi Fire pieces, he senses MK at the mercy of the Lady Bone Demon and rushes off to save him.
- Opportunistic Bastard: Macaque claims to have joined up with Lady Bone Demon so he can stay on the “winning” side of this fight. However, we learn a few episodes later that he hasn’t actually been given a choice.Macaque: (to Monkey King) You know me, there's a new player in town. I'm just feeling out which one is the winning side.
