Chaud and Proto Man bring Desert Man to Sci Lab allowing Dr. Hikari and the other scientists to learn about Darkloids. Nebula hijacks the Net Police Chief's car and threaten to crush him and Manabe in a compactor if Desert Man is not returned.
- Aborted Arc: A brief discussion about the Darkloids is brought up pondering what they are and how they came into existence. Dr. Hikari's theory is that due to calling net navis puppets for the humans, they came into existence on their own, but admits he has no real evidence. Barring one conversation with Regal later on where he credits Dr. Hikari as correct, this topic is never mentioned for the rest of the series.
- All Your Powers Combined: Chaud defeats Flash Man by Elemental Sword program advance.
- Face Death with Dignity: While taken by surprise at Flash Man's attack, Desert Man laughs it off knowing the same fate would befall Flash Man someday.
- Killed Off for Real: Desert Man and Flash Man are deleted in this episode.
- Mercy Kill: A villain example. Shade Man notices Flash Man's addiction to dark chips and acting aggressive, decides to impale him to stop his suffering.
