Recap / Letterkenny S 02 E 06 Finding Stormy A Stud

Go To

"You're having Thirsty Thursday with your pals the other day…"

Wayne, Dan and Daryl discuss Dan's cousin Samuel, who recently turned six. Wayne hates Samuel, and the group discuss his various misdeeds: Wayne saw Samuel trying to fit himself in the dryer once, and fifteen minutes later, was apparently intending to put the cat in the dryer. Daryl says he saw Samuel snort a line of Fun Dip on his fifth birthday, and after some discussions of methods of doing drugs, Dan decides to go check on Samuel.

Post-credits, Katy's at the dollar store when she sees something interesting, which she takes a photo of, and then goes inside. We then see what she was looking at- a flyer advertising a talent and model search.

At the produce stand, the Hicks discuss Wayne's dating life. Wayne intends to leave dating aside for a while- his priority is finding Stormy a stud that she won't try to kill. They discuss taking her to the vet, and then Gail shows up, having found a potential stud for Stormy, and she and Wayne head off.

At the hockey rink, Reilly and Jonesy run into Coach, who's been hired as the Letterkenny Irish's coach. He calls their previous program a cakewalk and yells at them a lot before storming back into the locker room. Reilly and Jonesy are terrified, and decide to skip practice. On their way out of the arena, they bump into Glen.

At the basement, Devon and Roald are going through options for hip-hop karaoke for Stewart, who's very depressed. As they cue up his song choice, he's shown to be looking at a photo of Katy.

Back at the produce stand, Wayne and Gail were unsuccessful, and Gail thinks Stormy's the problem. She suggests sedating her, but Dan flips his shit and rants about how it's exactly the same as drugging a woman in order to rape her. They get into a discussion about drugs, and then Gail gets a text- there's another possible stud candidate.

Glen and the hockey players are at the ice cream truck from 'Relationships', where he's trying to both counsel them and convert them. Unfortunately, he has to dumb his speech down a lot. When Reilly and Jonesy admit that their problems started when they broke up with Katy, Glen tells them that there's plenty of fish in the sea, which they interpret as a suggestion to go hook up with their big city slams.

Back at the produce stand, Gail's found that stud, but she warns Wayne that if this one doesn't work out, he may just have to accept that Stormy's not fit for breeding. Wayne is clearly very upset at the idea.

At the hockey rink, Glen's reading while Reilly and Jonesy pace. Katy emerges from the hockey rink with a talent scout who wants to sign her and take her to the city. She, Reilly and Jonesy greet each other, but before they can talk, Reilly and Jonesy's big city slams pull up.

Back at the produce stand, Gail's found another potential stud- she has a cousin in Tobermory who'll come over soon. Daryl wonders what they'll do until Gail's cousin and the stud show up, and suggests hoovering schneef/snorting cocaine. He, Dan and Gail start talking about the places where they've done coke, while Wayne is adamant that 'schneef' should be pronounced 'schniff'.

At the basement, Stewart's been passed out for twelve hours after snorting melatonin. Stewart is critically depressed, and Devon declares that since they need him at 100%, they'll help him get Katy back.

At the hockey rink, Reilly and Jonesy admit that they miss Katy, despite having spent the last five minutes getting handjobs and blowjobs from the city girls. Glen tells them the obvious problem: if he was Katy, he wouldn't want to date them, and if he was Wayne, he wouldn't want them dating his sister. Reilly and Jonesy draw the wrong conclusion and declare that they have to beat up Wayne to get Katy back.

One montage of everyone getting ready for their various exploits later, we're back at the produce stand. Reilly and Jonesy pull up and demand to fight Wayne, who ignores them. When they say that they want to fight him to get Katy back, he says it's unnecessary, but at the same time seems willing to fight. In the background, Katy heads off with the talent scout, but the hockey players don't see it.

Stewart, Devon and Roald turn up, having also missed Katy leaving, and the hockey players turn on them. Wayne, the Hicks and Gail prepare to fight the Skids and hockey players, but before they can, Gail's cousin appears. Said cousin is named Rosie, and Wayne is very obviously attracted to her. He ignores the brewing fight in favour of talking to her, but before they can try getting their dogs together, Angie walks up and tells Wayne that she wants him back. Before Wayne can react, he gets a phone call- it's Tanis, who tells him that she's pregnant, and the episode ends.
