Go To

"You heard a couple nutsacks talking about hockey the other daaaaay…"

At MoDean's, Jonesy, Reilly and their team's rookie are drinking and talking about how awesome the rookie is and how he's got a game in the city that weekend, which gives him an opportunity to bang a lot of city babes. Wayne and Gail are listening in from the bar, and become baffled by the conversation to the point that Wayne has no further comments before the credits start.

At Wayne and Katy's house, Daryl asks the other Hicks if they can skip his birthday party that year. Wayne and Katy are outraged at the idea, and Katy explains to Dan that as a child, Daryl's mother threw him parties with boy band karaoke, cupcake decorating and so on. Despite his pleas, Wayne and Katy refuse to skip the party, saying that it's a tradition, and you don't fuck with tradition.

Cut to inside the house, where Dan is summing up the current state of affairs: there's a few guys walking around claiming to be the toughest guy in Letterkenny, so since Wayne's fighting again, they'll be around to challenge him soon. The three top contenders are known as Sled Ted, Rat Ass and Joint Boy, and Daryl is confused about the names.

Outside, Reilly and Jonesy are parked outside. Katy is annoyed, and explains to Wayne that her boyfriends are afraid of him and don't want to come too close. She's forced to walk over to their Jeep, and harshly tells them to never make her walk that far again. On the back porch, the guys wind up debating which part of their ballsack one would least want to see if one tore their ballsack open trying to do a skateboard trick. Back inside, the phone rings and Wayne announces that Sled Ted has arrived. He and Wayne fight, and Wayne wins easily.

At the dollar store, the Skids are dancing outside as Katy arrives. She ignores them, but Stewart stares after her, seemingly entranced. Back at the farm, the guys alternate between discussing Sled Ted, Rat Ass, and various scents and colognes.

Inside the house, Katy tells Wayne that their neighbour won't lend them a horse to dress up as a unicorn for the party because last year, it came back with its breath smelling of alcohol, but he's willing to lend them a donkey. Wayne refuses to accept this, saying that it has to be a horse, and Katy heads off to find a horse. Wayne gets a call that Rat Ass has arrived, and while the ensuing fight is slightly harder than the one with Sled Ted, Wayne still wins.

Reilly and Jonesy are putting up a banner for the party when Katy asks if they did the liquor run. They did, but they couldn't get some of the ingredients, and when Katy asks, it turns out they need ingredients for all of the drinks. Katy forces them to drive to the city to get the ingredients. Once they're gone, she gets a text from Stewart asking her to call him, but she doesn't reply.

Back at the barn, the Hicks discuss Rat Ass and Daryl's birthday, and then get to the main topic: Joint Boy, who is reputed to be extremely tough. Daryl asks if they should call a guy called 'the Ginger' for backup, but Wayne says no, because the Ginger fucked an ostrich. While Dan points out that this is all hearsay and there's no proof, the Hicks agree to only call on the Ginger in emergencies.

Cut to the Super-Soft Birthday Party, complete with cupcake decorating, a unicorn, pink decorations and more. The party's in full swing when Joint Boy and his entourage show up. Wayne tells him he's interrupting the party and asks Katy if he can sort things out, which she allows, but warns him not to lose. Joint Boy brings up the fight from last episode and says that Alexander is his second cousin, so since Wayne did him a favour by defending his family, he'd be happy to call the fight off for now. Wayne looks at Katy, who shakes her head, and replies that he didn't do Joint Boy any favours because he didn't know who Joint Boy is. They fight, and while it's a very tough fight, Wayne wins, and then asks if Joint Boy wants to come to the party.

The party goes back to normal. Dan and Daryl watch Wayne and Katy decorating cupcakes, and talk about how the party is more for Wayne and Katy than for Daryl, because Wayne and Katy's parents never let them have birthday parties growing up, so Daryl's was the closest they'd get. Daryl and Dan discuss snorting cocaine for a while, Joint Boy and Wayne become friends, and Katy gets another email from Stewart asking her out, but she declines. Finally, Daryl looks over at Wayne, who's covered in icing, and comments that he's the toughest guy in Letterkenny.
