As the title says, in this chapter Harry, Twilight, the Mane 6, the CMC, and the Equestrian Royal Guard get ready to venture to Earth.
Tropes that took a cover of Vogue way too seriously include:
- Crazy-Prepared: Ever since learning about the existence of another world, the Princesses and their courts have been preparing for a journey to Earth by training their guards to walk bipedally and making contingency plans on top of contingency plans. They even had a plan to throw the portal tree into the sun if negotiations with Earth went really bad.
- The Masquerade: Twilight and the Princesses want to keep the existence of Equestria a secret from the general public until they've officially made contact with England's government. Thus, this is in effect.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: Princesses Celestia and Luna give Harry and the fillies their full support to go to Hogwarts, and do everything in their power to not only make sure that the four have everything they'll need for school, but also to make sure that they have guards, magicians, scientists, and diplomats on hand for any issue that might arise from Earth or the portal.
- Tempting Fate: Twilight believes that Hogwarts will be similar to Princess Celestia's school, and that the students will be watched/protected 24/7 by competent staff members and patient, dedicated teachers. Needless to say, Hogwarts is not like that.
- True Companions: Harry once again states that he sees the CMC as his best friends, and that he doesn't want to go/be anywhere without them.
