Ash, Mickey and Mini-me Alfie...with a flame-patterned shark.
The team are taking down Dale Ridley, former gameshow host in the 80's-turned-arrogant property developer who has spent years bribing people to get deals on buildings he fully intends to sell on and bulldoze. Meanwhile , Ash's god-son; Alfie Beezer, is staying with Ash for a few days, which means all hands are on deck.
Tropes:
- Fatal Flaw: Pride. Ridley has a massive ego, constantly wanting to evoke the glory days of his TV Persona, something the crew exploits when the former studio he worked at; London City Studio's, is shutting down.
- Ironic Echo: Mickey mentions how Alfie staying with Eddie would cost him, and "sounds expensive". The sentiment is shared by Eddie later in the episode when Albert drops him off at the bar, and Eddie says the same thing.
- Show Within a Show: "Ding Dong, That's My Song" is a cheesy 80's TV show, modelled on that of other similar shows of the period.
