Summary

With the fall term only a week away, both Makoto and Kyoko find themselves confronted by their respective families about the strength of their bonds of friendship. Will the two of them admit that they're more intimate with each other than they first thought?

• Everyone Can See It: Both Makoto and Kyoko's families point out to them how the two of them have gotten closer to each other. Fuhito even notes how the way that Kyoko looks at Makoto while leaving the water park is the same as how Jin looks at her mother.
• Foil: The chapter shows the contrast of Makoto and Kyoko's families' reaction to their friendship. While Hana, Shingi, and Komaru are happy for Makoto and would like to meet Kyoko, Fuhito only reluctantly lets Kyoko keeps her friendships since they help improve her detective skills but tells her to not get too close to Makoto.
