Quick Draw McGraw has been arrested for concealed carrying his guitar and Harvey is supposed to defend his right to open carry.
Tropes
- Artistic License – Prison: The jail they keep McGraw in confiscated his guitar, but they let him keep his pistol holstered on him. This of course is done intentionally for the sake of the joke, characters treating guns as less dangerous than stringed instruments.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: The whole episode draws parallels to McGraw's use of a guitar as a weapon to the Second Amendment allowing the right to carry firearms.
- Law of Disproportionate Response: People treat McGraw's guitar as though it were a loaded weapon that could kill someone at any moment. Hilariously, people react to the presence of a drawn, fully-loaded gun with total apathy.
