It's Christmas eve and a dangerous criminal has gotten a 24 hour holiday release from prison as Golgo heads into town and checks into a hotel room for the night. He has an assignment to eliminate the criminal to cover up his involvement with a powerful politician before he goes back to jail the following morning. Further complicating matters is the presence of a skilled hotel inspector named Dahl who is determined to uncover Golgo's true identity before he can carry the hit out. Can Duke Togo complete the job with such a strict deadline and a nosy investigator hounding him every step of the way? This is one night of the year that definitely won't stay silent for long...
