Zhuge Liang, Jeanne, and Shirou Kotomine/Amakusa walk down a hallway. Amakusa teases Jeanne for being nervous. Zhuge gets annoyed by Amakusa picking up Kirei's jerk traits. Francis Drake joins them and happily greets them. Zhuge tells her to take this meeting seriously, and she says he needs to learn how to lighten up. She says she and Iskander are drinking later and invites him, but he declines.
Zhuge unlocks a large door and they enter a room with a huge circular marble table that has a symbol in the center. There are many chairs, some occupied. Sherlock Holmes talks with Ozymandias, a tanned man who only wears jewelry and a white cape on his torso. Holmes asks him to put a shirt on, but he refuses, as he is the King of Kings, as perfect as the sun, so his beauty must be exposed to all. Holmes says if the sun was exposed all the time, it would burn everything. Ozymandias responds, "... Screw you, I like my abs."
Kiritsugu talks with Merlin, the Magus of Flowers, a young man with long white hair and a white cloak over his clothes. Merlin teases him because he hasn't bought his wife Irisviel flowers in a long time, and asks if this means he doesn't love her anymore. Annoyed, he says buying her flowers from Merlin's flower shop when they were dating is good enough, but relents and says he'll buy her roses later. Merlin is happy.
Dr. Roman is talking to Da Vinci, a lovely woman who wears a colorful dress with a blue glove on her right hand and a metal gauntlet on her left hand. Da Vinci is laughing after hearing the story of Yang breaking Astolfo's pelvis while he says she shouldn't make fun of his misfortune. She says this started with Astolfo dropping his towel and says she does not bother with a towel when she bathes, as she prefers to walk around her room, free as a bird until she dries normally, then teases him by asking if he is picturing her doing this. He blushes and says she'll get sick if she keeps doing that, and asks if she at least locks the door. She laughs and turns to a woman in a red military uniform, saying Astolfo is lucky Nightingale is not the school nurse anymore, or else she would have amputated his di- Dr. Roman quickly interrupts her by greeting Zhuge and asking for the meeting to start.
They sit and Zhuge puts his hand on the table to create a force field, so now no one can eavesdrop. He creates holograms of humanoid Grimm and says some locals had spotted them and are starting to panic. Amakusa says Kirei Kotomine has gone on a quest to meet these Grimm and to see if it is possible to communicate with them. He brought Bazett with him in case they attack him. Zhuge and Kiritsugu are annoyed he did this without consulting them, but decide to let him try and hope he and Bazett don't get killed. Next, Zhuge talks about Drake's class discovering what appeared to be Heracles. Drake says it doesn't matter because he is dead. Merlin points out her report said Heracles was able to pull himself together after getting blown up, but Drake adamantly says she completely annihilated the island, so there is no way he can still be alive.
Zhuge shows a hologram of the Grimm Dragon and talks of Gawain's report saying the dragon is Siegfried transformed. He doesn't even know how it is possible. Holmes says it actually makes perfect sense. If filling a captured Grimm with a Rider's Aura can turn it into an animal, then perhaps the opposite process, filling a human with Grimm essence, is possible. Zhuge adds the report said Siegfried was able to regain his human mind. Jeanne asks if they can somehow turn Siegfried back to normal. Ozymandias suggests maybe a Caster can do it. Da Vinci is about to volunteer when Merlin beats her to the punch, making her pout.
Zhuge then shows a hologram of Jaune Alter. Jeanne tells the story of her team fighting him and how before he died, he warned that he was just one of many and an invasion is coming. Nightingale asks if they have any idea where he came from. Jeanne talks about the time Jaune fell into some black goop, but she and her friends had dismissed it because Caren Hortensia could find nothing unusual about it. Dr. Roman says he found more pools of the goop in the woods, and with a larger sample, he found what Caren missed. There was magic preventing it from being analyzed, but he broke through and discovered it contains a bacterial form of Grimm that feeds on a person's Aura and then creates a duplicate of them with all the person's skills and memories, but is murderous. He adds this seems to be completely different from the humanoid Grimm Kiritsugu discovered, as those are still monstrous enough to not pass for human, while these Alters can pass for human.
Kiritsugu gets worried and brings up the incident from seven years ago when Shirou and his team fought in a Grimm infested town and lost Sakura Matou. Arturia Pendragon was briefly trapped by some of that goop. This means there is likely an Arturia Alter running around. Nightingale asks why she hasn't shown herself then, and Jeanne says she is probably leading the invasion. Zhuge orders Dr. Roman to continue researching these Alters, and Da Vinci offers to assist him. Nightingale volunteers to search the woods and destroy any pools of goop she finds. Zhuge asks Ozymandias to stay at the academy as they will need a heavy hitter when the invasion happens. Kiritsugu says he will look into Arturia's disappearance once more, and Zhuge tells him not to let Mordred know about any of this. Zhuge tells Holmes to investigate whether someone or something is pulling the strings.
Zhuge tells Jeanne, Amakusa, and Drake not to tell anyone about this so they don't start a panic. He adds that Drake should not take her classes on any more field trips until this is over, causing her to say he is no fun. He drops the force field and they start to leave the room, with Merlin starting his trip to the town to try to restore Siegfried. Zhuge sees Jeanne is worried about everything that has happened and tells her it will be okay, and she can talk with any of them if she needs it. When Zhuge is alone, he sighs and says maybe he should go drinking after all.
