• All Love Is Unrequited: Chris towards Keisha, and Keisha towards Drew. Keisha is crushing hard on Drew, who doesn't seem interested in her romantically and only kissed her because she kissed him. Similarly, Chris has a huge crush on Keisha, who only views Chris as a friend at best.
• Inconvenient Attraction: Julius accidentally smacks Sheila on the butt thinking she's Rochelle, and ends up becoming subconsciously attracted to her, to his chagrin. From this episode on, all interactions between the two characters usually involve Julius becoming incredibly uncomfortable and trying to get out of it.
• Love Triangle: A rather one-sided one between Chris, Drew, and Keisha. Chris likes Keisha, and Keisha likes Drew. Drew isn't all that interested in Keisha, if at all, and even thinks of a few girls that'll, as he puts it, "make [Chris] forget all about Kiki (Keisha)".
• Not What It Looks Like:
  • Julius accidentally smacks Rochelle's friend and Keisha's mother Sheila on the butt, thinking she's Rochelle. Julius apologizes profusely and awkwardly.
  • Greg gets snappy at Chris for being at his locker by a certain time, and the ensuing argument makes them look like a couple bickering at each other to two girls.
  • Drew tries to convince Chris that it was Keisha who initiated the kiss with him, not the other way around. As other episodes will confirm, he could very well be telling the truth.
• "Shaggy Dog" Story: Chris gets himself all spruced up for Keisha when she comes over for the day, only to find her kissing Drew.
