Main Characters Recruited: Brunhilda
After forming a pact with Mercury, Euden and the gang set off to Mount Adolla after the villain posing as his father to save Zethia and the flamewyrm, Brunhilda
Upon confronting the villain, Euden is saved by Brunhilda by an attack. However, the villain still gets away with Zethia. Euden and the crew make an effort to gain the wounded Brunhilda's trust, who doesn't believe them when they say they want to help her.
When the volcano starts to erupt, Brunhilda tells the crew to leave. However, Euden refuses to leave the dragon to die. As such he requests to form a pact with her to help. After proving himself worthy of forming a pact, Euden and Brunhilda successfully stop the volcano from erupting and another pactstone is formed.
To better accompany the crew, Brunhilda decides to also take on a more human form, in which she asks to go by Mym in such form, after an adventurer who traveled with Alberius.
This chapter contains examples of:
- Heroic Sacrifice: Brunhilda attempts one of these, but Euden stops her from going through by offering to help allowing for her to pull of the task without having to die.
