Mike Hagel, the Mayor of Capulet Town, gets angry when his daughter Angelina starts dating a stranger named Bradley. Suspecting Bradley is a serial killer who's been active recently, Mike hires Dante to kill him. During his investigation, Dante discovers the real serial killer, a portal-creating demon, and kills him. He then discovers that Bradley is a demon who was summoned by Mike's butler to assist him in summoning the greater demon Belphagor, but Bradley is not evil and genuinely loves Angelina, so he abandoned the butler. Recalling the love between his demon father Sparda and human mother Eva, Dante lets him go.
The butler manages to summon Belphagor on his own, and attempts to use Mike and Angelina as offerings to the demon. Bradley rescues and heals the pair, while Dante knocks out the butler and then defeats Belphagor. Afterwards, a grateful Mike gives the couple his blessing.
