Short Summary
As a result of gambling Glenn is broke and in order to earn money, he leads Class 2 to lead the Magic Games Festival. The special guest of the Festival is Empress Alicia VII, Rumia's biological mother who abandoned her. The Empress tries to reconcile with her daughter, but things get more complicated when the Researchers of Divine Wisdom are planning an assassination.Tropes:
- School Festival: The Magic Games Festival is this although the 'Festival' part is rather downplayed due to it now being seen as a way to gain more glory and recognition to oneself which causes lecturers to alienate lower ranked students and only allow the top students to particpate. In fact the reason why the entirity of Class 2 participates is because Glenn thought it was a normal festival.
- Underdogs Never Lose: While Class 2 doesn't have as many excellent students as other classes such as Class 1, they are still able to do well enough in other games which have less points and unlike other classes which only uses the top students in nearly every game which forces them to conserve energy unlike Class 2 who can go all out. This allows them to gain enough points to win the Magic Games Festival.
