It is a New Year's celebration in New York City for Shu and the others. Months later, Heath and Akiko have finished their student exchange program in returning back to Sakai, though they keep in touch with their new friends.
Five years later, 2045. Japan has been rebuilt, Shu comes to accept his blindness in receiving rehabs. Heath, Akiko, Walter, and Ayase have their future goals. Arisa is killed by Kazama, which nobody cares about.
Da’ath’s remnants make their final strike in targeting Shu and Inori in bringing the apocalypse to their new world. Inori is revived with a new body in helping Shu. Together, Shu and Inori finally defeat Yuu and Da’ath.

- Bittersweet Ending: For the Phantom Remnants side, although they have their victories of defeating GHQ, it comes with Makoto's death and Akechi (who remains a fugitive in his home country) is now staying in America.
