Ali is a typical 12-year-old schoolboy who struggles in his studies, is a victim of bullying, and lacks parental love. His life changes forever when he accidentally wields a spy tech, the Infinity Retinal Intelligence System (or I.R.I.S.), which was stolen by two evil spies.
Tropes for this mission include:
- Late for School: Ali is even late to wake up, only doing so when his father phoned him from work. He hurriedly scooters to school and pauses by a food stall to buy his lunch. The school bell alerts him and he hurries off as soon as he received his order. He attempts to sneak into class with his friend Victor's help, only for Alicia to announce Ali's tardiness when she saw him crawling to his desk.
- Mistaken Identity: Ali is mistaken for an evil spy operative when he orders a side from the food vendor Wak Musang which matched the password told to him by evil spy Dos who was handing over the I.R.I.S. to another evil operative. It wasn't until the next customer said the password did Wak Musang realise he gave the I.R.I.S. to the wrong person.
- Stumbled Into the Plot: Ali accidentally receives the I.R.I.S. when the food vendor Wak Musang assumes Ali to be the operative that the I.R.I.S. was meant to be given to. Later, Ali activates the I.R.I.S. to free his uncle from the evil spies, and from then on forth, the I.R.I.S. is only functional to Ali. The M.A.T.A. agency decides to recruit him as an agent to use the I.R.I.S. to assist in their missions.
