• Pichu's friendship with Yoshi. The 2 have known each other since the days of Melee.
  • The first time we see them together in this series is in episode 2, and this scene immediately establishes the close bond these 2 share.
  Pichu: Hey, Yoshi! Long time no see, man!
  Yoshi: Yo, it's the ultimate champ himself and my old best friend from Melee!
  Pichu: Small world, ain't it, Yosh?
  Yoshi: Oh yeah! Bros always find their way back to each other!
  • In episode 3, Yoshi and Pichu have a talk about the death of Birdo, an event which Yoshi is still trying to get over.
  Pichu: (Chuckles) She was a wild one. You got a thing for wild, don't you, Yoshi?
  Yoshi: Yeah, she was great.
  Pichu: Well, hope you feel better.
  Yoshi: Me too, Pichu. Me too.
• Any and all of the interactions between Yoshi and Cassandra.
  • Yoshi protecting Cassandra from Ganondorf in episode 3.
  • At the end of episode 3, Yoshi and Cassandra have this exchange:
  Cassandra: Hey.
  Yoshi: Hey, Cassandra. How are you feeling?
  Cassandra: Much better. Those Maxim Tomatoes helped out a lot. I definitely feel more refreshed. Thanks for helping me out today. I think I finally caught a break from my hell of a life.
  Yoshi: No problem. So... would you like me to show you around?
  Cassandra: You sure you don't want a rest? You took quite the beating.
  Yoshi: Nah, I'm good. I've hurt worse.
  Cassandra: Then I accept your offer.
  Yoshi: After you, milady.
  • Special mention goes to them watching the sunrise together in episode 11, beginning with Cassandra's beautiful singing of "All I ask of you".

  • Once Cassandra finishes singing, Yoshi (who has managed to suppress his dark side), goes over to see her.
  Yoshi: Wow.
  Cassandra: (Surprised) Yoshi!
  Yoshi: That was... beautiful, Cass.
  Cassandra: Oh, thanks.
• Ridley walking Blue home after saving her from a murderer.
  Blue: Thanks again for saving me.
  Ridley: Uh, you're welcome.
  Blue: Just so you know, there's a group called the Ultimate Heroes for Hire. They could really use someone like you on their team.
  Ridley: Yeah... I'll... definitely look into that... thing.
• Blue forgiving Ridley for everything he's done as a villain.
  Ridley: After I saved you, Blue, it gave me a spark of hope. Hope that even someone as vile and despicable as me could change. And be forgiven by those I've robbed. The way you smiled at me... Nobody had ever looked at me like that before. It felt so good. So... refreshing... I didn't tell you the truth about me because I... I didn't want that feeling to be lost!
  Blue: Well, who cares?
  Ridley: What?
  Blue: Who cares who you were back then? Obviously, it's not who you are anymore. What's done is done. All you can do is move on. And hopefully, the people you hurt will be willing to move on too.
  Ridley: R-really? Even after everything I just told you? You can still find it in your heart to trust me?
  Blue: I trust you with my life, Ridley. And you never once did anything to betray that trust. That's good enough for me.
• Ridley protecting Bowser from the Board of Evil in episode 9.
  Lord Douglas: Ridley, are you blind!? The enemy is behind you! UNHHH!
  Ridley: YOUR enemy, maybe, but MY friend!
• In Episode 14, Ridley realizes that his true feelings are not for Samus, but for Blue.
  Ridley: Ha... I'm such an idiot. Blue... it was always her.
