  "What will you do there?" I ask, as he once asked the man he loved, and still loves.
  "Every morning, at dawn," he replies, his eyes looking faraway, "I will row out to sea in a little boat. I will turn toward the spot where I last saw Teruzen's plane, and I will wait for the sun to rise."
