  • When the Victory crew first take Kot-nim in, they are all understandably apprehensive of her. However, when she shyly asks for food, Tiger Park immediately offers her half of his meal, only stopping when Captain Jang orders him to.
  • Kot-nim and Tiger Park bonding over her dinosaur drawings. After this, he lets her call him "sang-chon (uncle)" and becomes very protective of her for the rest of the film.
    • In one scene, he can be seen watching over her and darning her socks while she sleeps—a fact she happily recounts to her father when they reunite later on.
  • Tae-ho adopting Su-ni and promising her that he will try to be the best father for her.
    • Further driven in when Bubs says that Tae-ho didn't even have to keep her; he could've just handed her over to his superiors and went on with being a successful UTS officer. Despite this, he still chose to give her a name and raise her as his own, even using his hard-earned savings to have her hearing problems cured.
  • Bubs and Kot-nim being "girlfriends" and bonding while the rest of the crew repairs their ship.
    • The fact that Kot-nim calls Bubs "unnie (big sister)" without being told about Bubs' preferred gender. Bubs' pleased blush is just the cherry on top of an already heartwarming scene.
  • Kot-nim drawing portraits of the entire crew, and their touched reactions every time she shows them.
    • It becomes a tearjerker later on when Kot-nim is captured, Tae-ho leaves the crew for a while, and their portraits together is the last thing the camera focuses on.
  • When Kot-nim goes missing in the hangar, the crew are immediately beside themselves with worry. Even Tae-ho, who up until that point had been rather cold with her, starts calling her "Kotnim-ah/Kotnimmie!" as a sign of his growing fondness for her. note
  • When Kot-nim faints after overexerting herself in the Langrangian Point, the crew scramble to revive her and are all visibly relieved when she farts.
  • Jang gently washing Kot-nim's hair for her when the men just can't agree on the best way to do it.
    • Tae-ho returning to watch the two of them with a soft, fond smile on his face.
  • The Black Fox group's overjoyed reactions at seeing that Kot-nim has been safe this entire time. One crew member can even be overhead gushing over how chubby and healthy she has gotten under the Victory crew's care.
  • A minor one, but when Camila closes in on the crew, Tae-ho carefully pushes Captain Jang behind him—not because she isn't capable of defending herself, but because they all look out for one another.
  • The Victory crew admitting how much they love one another when they think they're about to die.
    • Doubles as a tearjerker, but when Tae-ho, who has finally accepted his impending death, goes into a Heroic BSoD and can only stare blankly out the cockpit, Park comes up behind him and gently asks "Taeho-ya, are you okay?"
  • The crew plus Kot-nim having lunch together at the end of the film. They've only been together a few months at most, but with Captain Jang playfully threatening to send Kot-nim to boarding school if she doesn't eat her veggies and Tae-ho and Tiger Park discussing Kot-nim's education, they already sound and act like a regular family.
  • Bubs asking for Kot-nim's opinion on what voice she should get, and Kot-nim sweetly replying that Bubs doesn't have to get her voice changed because Kot-nim already loves the one she has just fine.
  • Kot-nim reveals in her closing narration that Tiger Park got his tattoos removed so he doesn't scare off her friends. She also notes that she knows her father is watching over her, and that they will meet again someday.
