Heartwarming / Sound of Freedom

Go To

  • When Tim and the gang succesfully raid the island and save about 54 children from the traffickers. It's an utter delight seeing the children celebrating their freedom.
  • The ending, where we see Rocío reunite with her dad and her brother Miguel. The music that goes along with it will make you cry tears of joy.
  • The sheer lengths Tim goes to all to rescue this one girl is staggering. He's already saved dozens if not hundreds of innocent children from a life of sexual slavery. Most people would probably just cut their loses at that point and be satisfied at what they did manage to accomplish. But not Tim. Even if it's just one little girl he isn't going to rest until she's safe and sound at home, even if he has to risk his life or take on an entire army to do it.
  • Tim rescuing Miguel deserves a mention too. When he first encounters the child the poor boy is so traumatized that he can barely speak and is afraid to even use his real name. After bonding with him Tim takes the Miguel out for a bite to eat and learns about his sister, who is still being trafficked. Returning the boy to his father Tim vows to save his sister Rocio as well, which kickstarts the main plot of the movie.
  • Tim and Katherine's relationship. She actually encourages him to quit his job having full faith in that what he will accomplish will be worth it. Not only is it, but the ending of the movie reveals it was her encouragement that kept him going when things got tough.
