- Bowsette's relationship with Chompy, which goes from unintentional traveling companies to steadfast allies, with Chompy becoming something between a beloved pet and a rather feral adopted daughter to Bowsette.
- Bowsette's relationship with Junior. Their first interactions before she leaves are sweet enough, but the entire sequence of her first meeting with the newly transformed Bowsette Junior is just heartmelting for how obviously devoted to each other the two of them are. Not to mention, Bowsette Junior is adorable, complete with puppy-like wagging tail (just like mom!) and proud smile as her mom pats her head.
- When Bowsette and her rescue party are ambushed, she loses no time in shielding Queen Boo from the assault of deadly shards, even taking a serious hit in the process. Then Bowsette tells the others to go back to the ship while she covers the retreat.
