• How exactly did Gumball and Darwin break the law in "The Recipe"? Cloning animals and people isn't illegal, let alone a crime against humanity. They didn't even violate any of man's OR nature's laws.
  • There are, in fact, laws against human cloning. In Anton's case, he's not human, but they still did clone a sapient being clearly without his consent (and that's after several, several murders). So yeah, they did break the laws of nature and mankind in several ways and only got out of it because Anton coming back left them out of suffering consequences.
