• Why didn't anyone look up the ship she was from? Perhaps they would have learned sooner that she had been missing for 3 years.
  • Possibly justified by them presuming the Olympia she referred to was the current ship bearing that name as Starfleet is in the habit of reusing ship names often.
  • Further justified in that the ship had been sent on a long mission in deep space. When it crashed, it had been on its mission for 8 years.
• The crew seems to have had a lot of conversations with Lisa without ever figuring out that she thought it was three years earlier than they did. You'd think that in Sisko's war report alone it would have come up.
  • Could be justified as her having been on a long deep-space mission left her out of touch anyway.
