- There is a lot of good foreshadowing for Harvey's crush on Sara, so it's not exactly an Ass Pull. However, there is some inconsistency. Why did he insult Sara if he had a crush on her? He accused her of lying about the bug story, insulted the Fortune Wookie, and defended Kellen's greed from her. Surely even he must have known he was ruining his chances.
- Maybe he didn't develop his crush until midway through or after book 3.
- Just because you have a crush on someone, doesn't mean that your personality has to change entirely.
