• Zabel says that his mother told him Mare is only going out on a date with him to keep close to the case. In the next episode, Zabel and his mother talk about Mare at the breakfast table, and Zabel asks his mother how she knows he likes Mare. Why is Zabel surprised that his mother knows about his interest in Mare if he already told her about asking Mare out on a date?
