• Henry is despondent that all his date ideas for Grace were thought of already by Other Henry. But since Grace's problem is that Henry isn't her Henry, isn't showcasing their similarities a good thing?
  • To a point. But this is also their attempt to get to know each other, and this still isn't "Grace's" Henry. Also, Henry doesn't want Grace to think he's just a poor copy of the Henry she knew, which is what copying all other Henry's moves would look like, sooner or later.

• Dr Grant's files are apparently being examined because Larry put 11 in the 'Dependents' box instead of 1. Okay. But who's the one supposed to be? Grant didn't bring any family from 1947 and it seems unlikely he's had any children since then, so what dependents would he have?
  • You are allowed to claim up to one dependent, no reason and no questions asked, and most everyone does for the free deduction.

• When Zane discovers that Dr Grant's identity is fake, Jo blows him off by insisting that it's not. Surely Jo knows Zane well enough to realise he won't be dissuaded that easily, especially when he knows he's right? Surely it's better to pretend that, e.g., Dr Grant is under Witness Protection, then threaten Zane with dismemberment if he tells anyone. That satisfies his curiosity and gives him the ego boost of stumbling onto a massive secret while giving him a reason to drop it.
  • Jo may not have thought that up on the spot, and it would then involve getting everyone else on board with that lie, too. Best to keep it simple and dissuade Zane from even looking into it.
