The short has drawn praise from a number of other internet personalities (Trevor Henderson

- Officer Rick Slider using his codec to ask his superior Krieghauser, his equal Naomi Blaze, and his child daughter Rita (who is the very person Rick is trying to save) how to kill a ghost. He resorts to calling the ghost and asking it how to kill it! And it works!
- Naomi's ending narration."I survived the N-Obelisk, thanks to the sacrifice of Rick. And the hundreds of people we didn't save."
- Also Naomi saying she wouldn't rest until she had "all the answers" despite them already being provided to her by the passenger in her car.
- Ernstwaffen Krieghauser's annoyed reaction to being called by Rick while in the middle of a Hell Gate ritual, which has such an ominous aura that it changes the color of his Vibrolink screen.
- Naomi Blaze not realizing that Officer Ramirez's dying words were not him literally calling the N-Obelisk a "tra-tra-tra."
- Krieghauser's excuse for not accompanying his squadmates as the explore the first twelve floors of the N-Obelisk: He has to stay in the lobby and keep ringing the bell.
- Rick Slider continuing to accuse Krieghauser of being the villain throughout Krieghauser's graphic murder in front of him.
- During the exposition dump, Rita Slider laments being bullied for believing in ghosts. This might be sad, if it weren't for 1. The fact her bullies are a bunch of middle-aged men in lab coats◊. 2. Her adding that she claimed that she was dating a ghost going to another school.
- There's also the fact that the reason scientists believe ghosts don't exist is because they think ghosts went extinct with the dinosaurs.
