• In Chapter 5/Episode 4, Hio takes a gander at the fancy displays each staffer created. When she comes to Fu Girl's display, she's surprised that it looks plain, and not like some nightmarish zombie zone. Director explains that he forbade Fu Girl from doing anything overly violent, and Hio soon sees what Fu Girl did instead, when she scares Hio by bursting out from behind the shelves.
• In Chapter 14/Episode 6, the staff is helping Sensei with an awards submission when Hio accidentally spills some ink on a page. All the girls start crying uncontrollably, and Director futility tries to calm them down. Umio walks in front of everyone, and it looks like he's about to give a rousing speech... but nope, he starts crying too. Amusingly, seeing him all pitiful like that does motivate the girls to get back to work.
• In Episode 8, Sensei is getting a fond farewell and gifts from her co-workers when they hear from Umio that she's leaving for another job. The moment is killed when Director mentions that Umio didn't hear the whole story, and Sensei is just taking less shifts. The kicker is that everyone immediately loses interest and takes their gifts back.
