• When Teth-Adam is buying apples for his family, the merchant tells him it's against the law to buy more than one apple per worker. Adam gives the Rock's trademark cocked eyebrow, which persuades the merchant to be generous. Apparently Adam is such a badass he can haggle with a single facial expression.
• Maxine's first encounter with Hawkman has her going into full fangirl mode.
  (To herself) Say something. Say something now.
  Maxine: You're Hawkman.
  (To herself) Something that isn't that. He knows who he is.
  Maxine: Hawkman.
  (To herself) Don't say it again!
• Albert shows his uncle his homemade Atom Smasher outfit. He makes a show of going through different masks deciding which one looks best, which includes a menacing hockey mask and a Superman mask (complete with spit curl!)
  • What's the one thing Albert was not prepared for when going on a stakeout? His legs cramping up from all the crouching.
• Kent Nelson's entanglement with a demon seems hopeless once the demon knocks the Helmet of Fate out of his reach, until Kent keeps the demon distracted long enough for him to let out the line "you have taken your eye off the ball". What sells the wisecrack is that the demon in question has four eyes.
• One of the Intergang agents decides to swipe Karim's shirt and wears it over his uniform.
