Fridge / The Lords of Midnight

Go To

  • Fridge Logic: Several examples:
    • One of your characters could be leading an army of over two thousand men but if you move onto a Random Encounter your character had to fight the battle personally - his army would not get involved and if he was killed the army would disband completely. This leads to the absurd situation of an army of two thousand men slaloming around groups of wolves to avoid the risk of the lord dying and the army being instantly lost.
    • If your character is mounted, any warriors on foot in your army can keep up with you even though characters on foot can normally only move half as far as mounted ones in a day (though this does tire them twice as fast than normal).
    • If your character loses his horse, even if you have a thousand horsemen in your army there isn't a spare horse you can commandeer - you have to find a wild horse to capture.
