In the end of the campaign, Lodge via Therin switches Luster, Gary's character, from being a Sorcerer to a Cleric. It looks like an overbearing GM fiat... until you recall Gary's previous character, Fastidian, was also a Cleric. And the only reason why Gary switched for a Sorcerer was due to the perceived need for a "nuke" in their party, without the campaign-specific weakness of a Cleric.
