• It's not entirely clear why some of the characters end up looking at the Big Bad, when they specifically know it will turn them to stone.
  • Generally, while they are by in large werewolves, who rely more heavily on scent. They've also still humans, a deeply visual species.
  • Also, Jackson in specific was just never terribly bright to begin with. So while you think he'd know his own boyfriend by scent. It's hard to be entirely shocked he fell for it (unless your conflating him with Roy Harper from Arrow who at minimum had infinitely more common sense)
