• Why didn't Toothless recognize Hiccup in the epilogue of The Hidden World? When he returned to Berk, Hiccup was already in his costume. His last memory of Hiccup is the separation. Having the same scent but a different appearance will raise questions.
  • Toothless also didn't recognize Hiccup because he probably thought he still looked the same as he did 10 years ago instead of with his beard.
• Why are the kids still scared of Toothless in The Hidden World despite what happened here? They have never seen him angry before.
• It should be remembered that although the Light Fury came to realize Hiccup would never hurt Toothless, she has no particular reason to feel comfortable around humans in general.
