  • Fridge Logic:
  • The Kingpin decides to kill Matt Murdock by making it look like the blind Murdock got drunk, beat a cabbie to death, stole the cab, and crashed in the East River.
    • I think there was one panel that revealed Kingpin believed Matt to be faking his blindness. Maybe out of ego, i.e. 'there's no way a handicapped man could be such a thorn in my side', maybe because blind men don't _do_ the things Daredevil can, but...yeah. Fisk thought the blindness was an act.
    • It's perhaps telling that the Netflix show had to change the details of this scene to make it make more sense. There, Fisk has one of his own people replace Matt's driver while Matt is drugged. The driver gets the cab up to speed, then has the guy abruptly bail out just as Matt regains consciousness, leaving Matt to be trapped in the driverless cab as it flies into the river at speed.
  • Where is Spider-Man? The Daily Bugle features in this story, and the Avengers even intervene at the very end so the "not my comic, not my problem" isn't in play here.
    • According to the main page, Daredevil told Spider-Man not to go after Kingpin before he can deal with Kingpin himself in an issue of The Amazing Spider-Man. To quote the main page, "Peter ignores him and confronts Fisk as Spidey, but realizes that he can't legally barge in and attack him since he doesn't have any official proof and is forced to bow out, deciding it's best to leave things to Daredevil once he recovers."
