Film / Kaptajn Polle

Kaptajn Polle (English: Captain Polle) is a Danish series of short, comedic action films, centering around the exploits of the eponymous character, Captain Polle, and his frequent struggles against the tyrannical municipal government of Copenhagen. Heavily inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean, from which it outright steals music and footage for the more epic scenes, the series consists of three films, Kaptajn Polle, Kaptajn Polle II: Over Øresund (Over the Sound), and Kaptajn Polle III: Ved Verdens Ende (At World's End). Additionally, a fourth film is currently in production, set to finish the saga once and for all (although that claim was already made in the third movie, which was originally supposed to be the last).
