A Bond of Honor
is a Kim Possible fanfiction by JPMod. In the series episode "Gorilla Fist", Ron returns to Japan at the request of Yori, from the Ninja school he previously visited. Suspicious of her motives and having noticed Yori's personal interest in Ron, Kim follows them, but certainly not out of jealousy. After the usual action and adventure, Yori concedes the field to Kim. Not in this story though: here, Yori moves to Middleton and she and Ron start a relationship, adding a new factor into Kim and Ron’s friendship and the dynamic of Team Possible.
This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Action Girl: Kim and Yori, of course.
- Alternate Universe Fic: Ron and Yori start to date at the of "Gorilla Fist", instead of Ron remaining single until his Last Minute Hook Up with Kim in So The Drama.
- The Stations of the Canon: Slightly tweaked, as the story takes in two other episodes ("Rappin' Drakken" and "Team Impossible"), altered by Yori's presence, though they have to shifted out of broadcast order.
- Title Drop: The very first words of the story are Kim musing "'It's a bond of honor'".
