TSB Chapter 7: The Fighting Irish

Written By: Thomas
POV: Third Person
Deaths: Saint George (1)

The author dedicates this chapter to his Irish great-grandfather and writes it with Saint Patrick's Day as the occasion. Unfortunately, this chapter, along with the several dozen others that he released recently, were only posted at the start of April, which means that I couldn't do this on Saint Patrick's Day.

While waiting for Ginny to get back, Draco gets a message saying that they need to go to Ireland and defeat a "satanic beast" pretending to be a Christian, and he passes the message along to the rest of Team England. When they get there, nothing seems to be wrong from the Prayer Warriors' perspective, causing "Muckheap" to wonder whether they've been deceived, but Draco insists on continuing to investigate, which is a greater degree of critical thinking than I'd usually expect from the Prayer Warriors.

Of course, they end up getting their answer from the voice, which tells them that the enemy's in Northern Ireland, which is under the control of the British, and the Prayer Warriors set out to find them. They're not alone, though, as the IRA joins them, and the narration helpfully points out that they're not terrorists, but freedom fighters. Considering the Prayer Warriors' tactics and feelings about England, this is hardly surprising.

Their enemy turns out to be none other than [1], who taunts them and demands that they kneel before him, but Draco, Michael and the IRA say they'll die before they let that happen. Of course, they'd kill him even sooner, and when St. George attacks, they bash his head in and kill him easily, even by their standards. They then burn his body and kill the supporters of Britain before making Ireland an ally of America.

Almost as an afterthought, they go to London and save Ginny. While Harry escapes, he leaves behind a clue as to the next Titan's location.

The author, in the first author's notes for a while that doesn't summarize the plot, gives his blessings to Ireland, the "Holy Alcoholic Church," the United States and the next Republican President, before suddenly declaring "FUCK YOU OBAMA! YOU WILL FUCKING LOSE THE ELECTION AND BURN IN HELL!" Needless to say, this didn't happen.

Next Installment: Team Egypt saves William and kills Anubis.
