Teg 2 Chapter 6: Aborting Abortions

Written By: Thomas
Proofread By: Ebony
POV: Third person

Thomas says this chapter is inspirational. Saint Peter, who claims to be 2,000 years old, says yes, and goes on a spiel about how no one should love nonbelievers, including the Jews. Jesus says Ebony proofread this chapter this time.

Thalia and Jason head to Kansas (a blatant Plot Hole, since Ebony asked them to come to Texas last chapter), with a blue Plymouth Voyager that was made in the 1980s, making a brief rant at Obama for undermining domestic auto industries, and forgetting that taking a plane is a more practical way of getting halfway across the country.

Midway through the trip, they stop at a hotel, and are pleased that the owner doesn't mind their preaching, which is unlike how things were in Russia(as far as I know, though, Jason and Thalia didn't go back in time), and even pays them to preach. Thalia and Jason sleep in separate beds, not being married.

They reach Ebony's home and notice that, because her atheist cousin is out, they can talk freely. She asks if she last saw them in Russia, and the answer is that no, Jason and Thalia never went there. She apologizes, saying that she's busy proofreading a story for her Christian cousin, essentially confirming her as an Author Avatar for Ebony.

Jason proudly says that they fought bravely, and Thalia, evidently having forgotten why she traveled halfway across the country, asks why she called them there. Ebony reiterates that she captured a Roman god, but is keeping him at her Christian cousins' house, lest Noah force her to release him.

Ebony then shows them the Roman god she captured, who apparently is disguised as an old man, and hiding his true form as a very ugly demon. The god's name is Socrates; apparently, the author doesn't even know who is or is not a Roman god this time.

Ebony says that the Roman gods are taking shelter in California, and when Socrates strayed too far out of California, she was able to capture him. She describes California as an ungodly place that she wants wiped out with nuclear weapons, but says there is a more immediate threat; an abortion clinic down the street that she is unable to destroy herself. Jason asks for a prayer before he goes about the task, and Ebony agrees, doing another rhyming prayer. After a few awkward rhymes- word/sword(which doesn't rhyme; the former rhymes with "bird" and the latter with "board"), those/goes and will see/see me- the author gives up on rhyming with a final couplet, "Tonight we will/live in Christ."

In the last paragraph of the chapter, Jason arrives at the clinic and declares to all those there that they have committed a sin and are to be punished with death. He sends all of them to prison, where they will stay until their babies are born, at which point, they will be executed. Few abortion opponents seem to regard it as a capital crime, but the same can be said for many things the Prayer Warriors disagree with.

Apparently, however, Joe Reardon is one of those people. After the Prayer Warriors blow up the clinic with a bomb (presumably after arresting everyone), he awards them with a medal. This is standard Prayer Warriors pacing; spend a moderate amount of time building up to a battle and wrap it up immediately.

Jesus likes the chapter, and Peter hopes Socrates dies.

Next Installment: The Prayer Warriors kill the first Roman god.
