Day 8: The Sea of Eve

We're now about to embark on the super-fun task of going to the Sea of Eve. The good news is that there are no bosses. The bad news is that it's the longest dungeon, and some of the enemies might as well BE bosses.

First, go into the shop and fill up your characters' inventories with healing items except for one or two slots (speaking of healing items, Poo seems to regain normal HP from them instead of just 6). Make sure you buy am H20 Pendant for Varik and Paula, and a Fire Pendant for Jeff (Poo can't equip them, so don't buy any for him). Then save.

Blue Tunnel

First, follow the path all the way north to find Poo's Sword of Kings. Equip it on him, then go back south, then go all the way east. Go north, and follow the path around to a gift box. Inside is Poo's Cloak of Kings. Equip it on him, and continue to follow the path to another box. This one contains a Hawaiian Pizza. Right around here is where you start seeing enemies from the Factory, too. Anyway, just follow the path to the white horn and examine it.

Cave of the Past...?

You wind up in a weird glitchy place that's full of grey intestines. You can't get that box north of you; you have to go around to get it. In the meantime, we've got some nasty new bad guys.

Brain Buster - These guys already have high defenses, but they also some protected by a PSI Shield. They can also freeze you and use Brainshock on your whole party! Thankfully, they're weak against Timestop and fire. The HP Sucker also pierces their defenses. Drops Teddy Bears.

Giegue League - They have high attack and defense and can poison you! He can also use PSI Special! A good idea is to use Poo's Mirror; it'll give him PSI Special and the ability to heal the whole party. You should also use Magnet on him so he can't fire off a PSI Special. Drops Cocoon Pizzas.

Transdimension Terminate - An evil Ness Bot. Likes to use Lightning attacks, but since it's PSI Lightning, it can be negated or reflected with a PSI Shield. Drops Fresh Eggs.

Open the box south of you to find a Franklin Badge. Now head northwest, then east to a long ribbon of tentacles. Go south to get that box you saw before. It contains Varik's Planet Buster. Equip it and go all the way north. Open the box for Jeff's Neutralizer. Now go west around a wall fragment with hieroglyphs on it, and you'll come across a box containing a Brain Food Lunch. Continue west until you see a walking hieroglyph. Walk up to it to reach the next area.

You'll now be in a much more colorful version of the Cave of the Past. In addition, everybody except Varik is a robot again. Go east then south to find the Phase Distorter (don't worry, it won't attack you this time). You can use it to save and heal.

From here on out, it's exactly the same path as the original Cave of the Past. Just follow the path, and when you come to a silver ball, touch it to go to the next area. Eventually, you'll reach a cave with a phone nearby. Save and step inside.

Sea of Eve

You'll now be in a place full of water. It's just like the original Sea of Eden, except that all the Kraken are replaced by...

Amalgamate - These guys are an amalgam of a bunch of other enemies. Get it? Anyway, they can use PSI Special, and they have too much PP to drain away. If you have any Psycho Pspirits, use them now. Don't be afraid to use your items here, because you can get them back in the next area. They give you a lot of EXP as a reward.

Thankfully, there are only three of them. With luck, you can actually dodge them.

Anyway, from the starting point, go east. Then head north, then northwest to find that woman standing on a piece of dry land. Talk to her to go to the next area.

Twoson...?

You'll now be in a place that looks a lot like Twoson. There are no enemies here, and there a place to save, get cash, and buy things. Note that the "portal" (the Shining Spot-like object) doesn't actually work. The white horn in the southeast corner will take you back to Magicant if you want to grind again. The path through the trees, howeverm will take you to the final dungeon...

There's no place to rest, so you'll have to use healing items on yourself. After that, I saved.
