I messed up, so I reloaded an earlier save. This mission takes place between the assault on the Geth Dreadnaught and the failed rescue of Admiral Koris.
Back after rescuing Eve from Sur'Kesh, Primarch Victus asked Fail Shep to extract a turian platoon that crash-landed on Tuchanka while carrying out a secret mission. Incidentally, the leader of this platoon is the Primarch's son, Tarquin Victus.
The crash site is swarming with Reaper forces. The mission goes like this: find an escape pod, kill a Harvester attacking the escape pod, go to next escape pod, etc.
Eventually, the squad reaches Tarquin himself, who reveals that his platoon was sent to disarm a bomb Cerberus plans to use to wipe out the region of Tuchanka where most of the females live. Unfortunately, most of Tarquin's squad was killed during the crash and the survivors no longer trust him to lead them.
Fail Shep gets Tarquin to use the threat of courtmarshalls and executions to rally his squad and they go after the bomb. Although Tarquin would like our hero's help with the bomb, Fail Shep has a 300-year old war to end.
Besides, nothing bad will ever happen to the krogan under Wrex's watch.
Liveblogger's note: I have already recompleted the Koris mission and will refinish the Rannoch arc tomorrow. I plan on / have made the same choices I made last time, so no updates on those missions will be neccesary. If time permits, I may have another update tomorrow.
