Welcome back to the Let's Play of Final Fantasy III!

Last time, we set off to the Sealed Cave with healing items in stock to fend off the dead monsters. As we traverse through the cave, we find another cure spell, possibly for a Red Mage. Some of the enemies here are capable of blinding you or poisoning you, so stock up on Antidotes and Eyedrops.

We finally manage to enter a room with skeletons and a chest full of gil. I guess they were bandits that wanted to settle down here before they were killed by the Djinn. We remember the King's advice about skeletons, and a secret passage opens up, and we go on in and find the princess. Yay!

...Except she's not your average princess in distress.

Cecil: Princess, why are you in such a place?

Sara: I have to seal the Djinn, to save everyone! But the monsters are too strong for me to go through.

Then how the hell did you even get this far?

Vivi: But it isn't safe for you to go any further. Let's go back.

Sara: No! I'll go alone if I have to!

Women are so stubborn.

Then she begs us to take her with us, because we don't have a ring and she does. So, Sara joins the party and offers a way how to kick Djinn's ass.

Sara: Djinn is a fire elemental. He must be weak to the cold...

Thank goodness we get some ice-elemental battle items, then! We finally meet the big bad genie, and Sara tries to seal him, but no avail, as he claims the darkness has made him powerful.

But we easily beat him with his weakness to ice, and he goes down like a punk. Sara seals his dumb ass and teleports us back to the castle, where she throws the ring into a pool. Then she tells us she can't go with us anymore, cause she must remain by her father's side. But she hopes we'll come back soon.

Anyways, with the curse removed, the King is pleased and gives us a canoe, to get our airship back. Yay! And we head back to Kazus, where Cid is waiting for us. He wants to get back home and he joins us for a bit. After buying some armor and a new fire spell, which the game didn't want us getting for some god-forsaken reason, we head into the Mythril Cave, and get some swords for our trouble.

Then we visit Tokaka or Tanpopo, whatever his name is, and he offers to put a battering ram on our airship. Minutes later, he's done it, and Cid is pleased.

Next time: RAMMING SPEED! Sick grannies! Mountain climbing, and a dragon's nest!
