In which AAAAH ELECTRIC TYPES!

Now after a long sleep of several days, Handel the Mudkip is feeling very refreshed! I'm still a Mudkip though. Nope. No hopes of it being All Just a Dream here! Handel remembers Charmander and heads on out of the hut. To find Charmander asleep on our doorstop. What? Huh? Do we have a stalker for a partner? Sorry incompatible egg types here! We start our Recusing today! Even though we don't have any requests yet. But one check of the mailbox reveals a Starter Set for us, with a badge, a toolbox for storing items, and a newspaper in it. He, the eager Charmander, checks the mailbox for anything else but...nope! No requests for the newbs.

But lo...on the horizon. A Pelipper approaches! He drops in the mail box. Does this mean what I think it means? It's someone requesting help! Magemite is stuck together and they can't get out! Welp, this is a personal request to the mailbox so let's head on out!

Thunderwave Cave. I Don't Like the Sound of That Place.

We find some Magnemites up at the mouth saying their friends are inside. Oh goodness. Okay, deep breath. This is the beginning. This dungeon can't be that bad. Well at least right now it's just Rattata's and Poochyena's. Com Mons. We should be fine. And yep, both of us gain levels from these fights. We are both up to level 6 and I learn Mud Slap. Down to the next floor.

We get placed within the same room as a Rattata. Fine by me. Still no electric types around so...good. I picked up some Gravelrocks and...well...at least I know that a Rattata's HP is less than 20 which is the damge those rocks give out. I also pick up an Apple in this room. When we trek around, our belly goes down. Apple's and to a lesser extent, Gummi's and Berries fill up our bellies. When we get too many Apples, we'll go on and feast on them and raise up our belly limit. The road we take leads to a dead end, so we have to trek back. And all we run into are those same Pokemon as before. -shrugs- Not too bad of a floor.

Next up, a spacious room, with Poke and a Nidoran Female. Still better than an electric type! We find a Blast Seed, which deals 45 damage to a foe that we have in front of us if we eat it and the stairs real quick.

Next room...AH A VOLTORB! Tackle it! Tackle it! And...AH A PULSE! (Which I believe is exclusive to this version) Floor done and onto the next one. Of which we land in the room with the stairs in it. NO OBJECTIONS!

We find our marks. The stuck Magnemites. One wave of the badge and we are out! (This is what the badge is necessary for. Instantaneous escapes for when we find someone. Otherwise, we have to go all the way through the dungeon.) Our Magnemites rejoice their freedom and both are grateful for us, giving us 500 Poke, a Reviver Seed, (a glorious item) and a Rawst Berry. Day is done, as we retire to our rooms.

Short update? Yeah kinda but dungeons are going to get real long. And, of course, the plot will thicken. So let's all get some rest and I will see you all next time!

An electric cave as your first dungeon? Ouch. Still, nice little update. Looking forward to more!
