In which we get bargain hunting

Welcome back, everyone. Last time we survived the second Full Moon, challenged the twin rulers of a Shadow empire for their crowns and once more proved ourselves awesome! Also gained another Persona user I guess. Anyway, back to the action!

Right, first things first. We're now on Wednesday, since I declared Tuesday a free day in order to save and quit. All you missed was Yukari asking if we saved Fuuka for the right reasons before school. Way to pour water all over the fire of glory, ya jerk. Anyway, Mitsuru has something to say before school today. Apparently both Fuuka and Natsuki are healing up well, so that's good. For today's rigmarole of terrible teaching we have Mr Samurai teacher. Joy of joys. He rambles on about stuff and we barely manage to keep awake. More Academics for listening to his terrible, terrible teaching. So that's a thing. Anyway, Yuko wants to hang out after school, but I have some errands to run first. First and foremost is checking out this new Antique Shop that opened up. If we have time we'll see what's up with her.

Right, our first stop today is the mall. Along with the aforementioned Antique Shop, I'm sure the police station has some more equipment for us to waste all of our money on. So onwards to the mall for now! As we enter the newly opened shop we find that the woman who runs it knows about Shadows. She also... creates weapons? Oh, you and I are going to get on just fine, lady. Apparently she uses Nihil Swords or Gloves and fuses them with our Personas to make new weapons. Some of them also have SPECIAL PROPERTIES. Also, bring her jewels and she gives you stuff. Yay. Alright, let's go grab Orpheus and see about fusing him to a weapon to see if that does anything. Might as well, right? Oh, and if you guys remember any good Personas to fuse to weapons, do let me know in the comments.

Okay, a little bit of jiggery-pokery later, I decide to not fuse Orpheus to a weapon, instead using Zouchouten for this noble task. Apparently it'll take a day to complete, but that's fine. We won't be going into Tartarus for a while anyway, so we'll pick that up at our leisure. Also we got Oberon from a fusion, so yay for that. Another request done, not to mention a good electric Persona. Of course, there's more requests waiting for us, including another Elizabeth date, so let's go do that now! This will be a thing, that's for sure.

This time we're at the train station, with Elizabeth marvelling at the marvellous marvel that is... an escalator. She makes it sound a lot more eldritch and grimdark than it is, as per usual, but that's part of her bizarre charm. Thankfully an announcer puts a stop to Elizabeth's attempts to go up the down escalator, forcing us to distract her with something else. The next thing to catch her attention is an apparently non-existent pitfall. Liz, you're one crazy gal. We ask where it is only for to her to run over to the open manhole that's covered up by fences. And somehow she's able to draw a Forbidden Fruit parallel from that. Elizabeth, that's a warning, not a trap. The authorities are not trying to weed out the morally impure with manholes and escalators.

As we wander over to the shops Elizabeth suddenly runs over to the Octopia stand, drawn by the "fragrant aroma". All I smell is octopus guts, but hey. The takoyaki chef compliments Liz on her keen sense of smell, then proclaims that... WHAT. What do you mean you don't use octopus in a store utterly devoted to making octo-treats! Anyway, Elizabeth wants a taste and OHGODNOTTHEWALLETAGAINPLEASENONONONONO. Thankfully the gods of Persona don't feel like giving me a heart attack today, instead allowing us to point out that she doesn't need to pay 1 million yen for octopus-free octopus. As we eat, Elizabeth expresses her surprise at the "secret ingredient" being used in food. When we ask what it might be, we're told that we're better off not knowing. I suddenly regret buying that takoyaki for that poor shrine girl... Anyway, we take her around the rest of the food shops (against the better judgement of our stomach and wallet) and bring this eldritch date to a close.

Right, that's one thing taken care of so let's finally head over to Officer Kurosawa and his wonderful goods! And by goods I mean weapons. Heads out of gutters, people. After buying some more stuff from him we still have 27,000 yen left over, so I'm inclined to call that a job well done. Let's head back to the dorm for now and see if there's any more news on Fuuka. Apparently Mitsuru and Akihiko are still at hospital checking up on her, so still no Tartarus. Thankfully I was forewarned of this, so it's no big deal. We'll get to it when we get to it. More study followed by sleep and we're onto Thursday. After school we get a text from Akihiko, telling us that Fuuka's been released from hospital and that they'll talk to her in the evening. Before that, however, we have a new sword to go collect!

Actually, this update is getting kinda long, so let's stop here and come back to it later. See you all shortly!

I just fuse different Persona onto my Nihil/Mother Object depending on who I don't need and what gives the best stats.

All I recall is that Odin makes Gungnir, which gives innate Elec Boost, but that is a ways down the line.

Interesting, otherarrow. And all I remember is Thor giving Mjolnir... which gives Elec Boost. That was the first such weapon I got, and I kept it for quite a while.

Cybele might also give something, I think, but that's at the end of the Lovers social link.
