So, we're going solo. With Edward. Why does this game hate me?
Anyway, first we have to go the right way through the Underground Waterway. Edward can beat these enemies... somewhat easily now, and he gets a lot of EXP for doing so.
We get to the second half, and let's try jumping down the waterfall.
Edward: (I can't make my way through this current...)
Damn it Edward, stop being such a pansy. Oh well, we detour through Behind the Falls again.
We stop at Damcyan Castle, so we can stock up on Tents. We'll need them.
Finally, to the Antlion's Den, which since FFIV has been connected to Damcyan by a bridge. They're just making excuses not to give us the hovercraft.
Edward: (Well, here I am. The Antlion's Den... Somewhere deep in this cave, the antlion should begin laying its eggs when the moon is full...)
The enemies here are the same as they were in FFIV, which Edward can beat pretty easily. Under the rightmost bridge in the first area is a hidden path leading to a Bronze Tail. Not much else of note, so let's head to B2.
The game starts throwing Yellow Jellies at us, despite not having any spell caster in this tale. Admittedly, Ceodore's Tale also had problems with this, encountering Red Mousses after the Black Mage had left, but still, this is stupid.
A chest in a side room here gives us the Lamia Harp. Weaker than the Dark Harp, but can Confuse, which to people who cared about status ailments, is probably more useful than Blind. We head to the Save Point area, but don't use it, as I want the current moon phase (New Moon) for something. We do loot the room for nothing really useful, though.
We head down to B3, but it's not the Full Moon. What are we doing down here? Well, during the New Moon, there's a Silver Tail hidden in a boulder.
Now let's change to Full Moon and go back to B3. We head down, go to an Antlion, and...
Get the Sand Pearl. Well what do you know, they are usually not hostile.
Edward: (Perfect! Now back to Harley at once!)
Well, next time, we return to Harley, by going through the Underground Waterway. Again.
