Our story begins, with Ouran's new scholar student Fujioka Haruhi ready to start a new year at a new school. Wondering if it was the right choice to transfer, Haruhi goes to the library to study. However, even in the library, Haruhi is not comfortable with studying. Even worried, Haruhi promises to mother that she will study hard for the next three years for her sake.

In the stairway a shadowy figure passes Haruhi and mutters "Be careful." The figure is a strange students in a black cloak with a strange hand puppet that appears to be a cat. "If you continue to advance, your destiny may be changed." Ignoring the strange student's word Haruhi continues onward.

Exploring the school, Haruhi stumbles upon Music Room 3. Inside she is greeted by prestigious sight. A chandelier, arrangements of flowers in marble vases, a harp, and Grand Piano. And of course, the Host Club. Two of the members, twin brothers Kaoru and Hikaru, recognize Haruhi from their homeroom class. Even though, Haruhi is a guy, he's still to be treated as an important guest to the Host Club. Tamaki, the club's President asks what type Haruhi likes: Cool, Secret Love, Lovely, Wild, or the Prince type. Backing away, Haruhi wishes only to study when she bumps into a vase...Reaching out trying to grab it, it breaks, shattering itself as it hits the ground.

Haruhi offers to pay to replace the vase, but it costs 8 million yen. Tamaki brings up the saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." From this day forward, Haruhi is to be the Host Club's slave in order to pay off the broken vase. The shock of suddenly being caught up with such a strange group of boys is too much for Haruhi, who faints.

Comments: The Drama is looking pretty good so far. The personalities of the actors match the characters almost perfectly. It seems to be very faithful to the actual series and I"m looking forward to what comes out of it.

The Host Club members kind of look like a J-Pop group in my opinion. Haruhi is quite comely, compared to being quite attractive in the manga/anime, although it gives an air of a "poor person" compared to the other Host Club members.
