So, allow me to present my results:

So, subtracting the 33 turns from 28x, we get 211 Turns. Not bad, if I say so myself.

Generally, I think I had an excellent team, here:

Hector was a beast, while he lasted, but his late promotion meant he started to lag behind (he certainly caught up in that final chapter, though). Oswin was a tremendous beast where Hector couldn't be one, it's a shame he has such a low movement.

Florina was indispensable, being a valuable flying party member and useful in a myriad of ways, despite subpar fighting ability. Canas was useful in a similar way, once he got his staff rank going (Mend, Physic, Unlock, Barrier, Warp, Restore...), and his ancient magic is nothing to sneeze at, either (his speed, on the other hand...)

Sain was a great all-around helper, with his high movement and good fighting abilities. Ditto for Isadora, who easily caught up to him, once she was fed a few items (Angel's Robe being the obvious example). I have a feeling Sain was made slightly redundant after that, but it's not bad to have two of essentially the same unit.

Harken was boss. He joined late, but it's hard to find a spot where he wouldn't be useful, killing everything in his path (I think the only unit capable of killing him was Morph!Linus). Almost as good as Oswin, having more movement for less defensive abilities.

Athos is amazing, considering he can be given any of the staves I mentioned earlier AND Bolting AND Luna. MVP of the only chapter he was in, and could easily be the same for many more.

Honourable mentions to Marcus (for being an excellent Crutch Character, as usual), Matthew (for taking care of all the thief-related business), Legault (for being useful in the desert and in FOW chapters), Jaffar&Pent (for killing plenty of dudes while they were neutral) and Lowen/Kent/Fiora/Heath/Vaida (for being reliable item-carriers and shoppers).

Anyway, I liked taking this draft. I love the Fire Emblem series, with 7 being my favourite, and it's always good to find a new way to play these games. I had to face several chapters in an entirely different mindset than usual, and now I'm wondering how it would be like if I didn't have Oswin and/or Florina (vital members of the earlier chapters).

I also played a game in German for the first time. Sure, FE has an online script in Serenes Forest, but it's not 100% accurate, and in the end, it's no different than reading subtitles. Personally, I really liked many of the German terms for items and classes (and details, such as differentiating between male and female units in the class), and I also got the impression that the German script is generally better written than the English one (with a couple of exceptions, such as in the character Epilogues). I now wonder what other game should I play in German (maybe a Zelda game...)

Back on the subject, I'd be up for a draft in a different game. Po R Hard Mode would be nice, the game is so easy, a draft could give me a challenge for once. Radiant Dawn should be interesting, considering the game limits your party already. Sacred Stones could work very well, too, as long as grinding is forbidden (SS has some seriously interesting and difficult maps, many players forget this). Finally, I'd be up for the always-challenging Sword of Seals, but I figure most others wouldn't :p

Anyway, it was fun. I'll still visit the forums regularly, but finding time for a new draft would be the tricky part. Who knows what the future holds, though.

Cheers
